Behind-the-scene.

This is my last project here in the company. It’s an interesting project where I get to do art direction for the microsite and media banners. The sad thing is that I will not see this through as the video shoot is until the end of August and the final production in early September. I will only get to jump-start it and see the baby gets delivered in September :(

For the first time I don’t feel sad about working on weekends — which got me thinking if what I’m doing currently is the real deal.

RIP Yasmin Ahmad

Al-fatihah for Yasmin Ahmad. A great loss to our nation and the creative industry, she will always be remembered for all her great works.

KUALA LUMPUR, July 25 (Bernama) — Renowned film and advertising director Yasmin Ahmad died here at about 11.25 pm Saturday night.

Her death was confirmed by Media Prime Group Chief Operations Officer Datuk Seri Ahmad Farid Ridzuan, who was at the Damansara Specialists Hospital, when contacted by Bernama.

Yasmin, 51, collapsed while presenting a working paper at Sri Pentas, the headquarters of the private television station TV3 on Thursday and was rushed to the Damansara Specialists Hospital.

She was reported to have suffered a stroke and brain haemorrhage.

Lomo #1

Frog in the pond in my garden at home.

I haven’t taken any pictures (not snapshots) for the longest time in my life! It has been half a year since I last took a serious shot. Especially lomo. It’s been 2 years since I last hold my lomo.

I’ve promised myself to take up photography again after serving my 2 months notice. Yes, I’ve resigned from my 2.5 years job. I’m leaving agency life (no life) to pursue my passion (more like finding it). And that, needs fuel and time. So yeah, good luck to myself :) *chuckles*
