TAMAN DESA!

Oh my! I’ve said it out loud! For 5 months that I’m staying here in Mont Kiara, weekends are the worst. When you planned to just laze around the house, what you don’t have is………. FOOD! Yes, food. And I specifically meant chap fan (or in plain English, economy rice) or food that you would just lust for!

(I’ve yet to have a functional kitchen where I can make my own food)

I used to live at this condo in Taman Desa where there are practically everything right outside the condo, from food to supermarkets to pharmacies to hair salons to clinics! You name it, we have it all! I missed how I could just took the lift down and walked out the entrance and voila! FOOD HAVEN!!!

I missed those chap fan, char kuey teow, fish head noodle, Taiwanese steamboat, Chinese steamboat, Japanese and Korean food. What? Do I hear “Don’t you have those in Mont Kiara too?”. Oh yes we do have it here but it’s not so economical comparing to elsewhere and they are all 5 minutes drive away from my place :(

Yes good Lord! Even 5 minutes away seemed so far*! (* applicable on weekends only) That’s what I meant by lazy weekends har har har…

I missed the swimming pool too laa… It has nice landscaping and very very comfortable unlike the boring squarish swimming pool here.

I haven’t been swimming after my Krabi trip and yes, for the 5 months that I’m staying here, I haven’t hit the pool, didn’t even manage to dip my toes! But I’ve decided to just jump into the pool at 6pm later, 30 minutes from now!

Right now, I need to clean up the house first. My room is definitely in a mess - there are things lying everywhere around the floor and dusts are collecting on my cabinets. It’s been 3 weeks since I last did any cleaning at all, lol! I’m a slave to my full-time job. Kthxbye!
